Since the emergence of large language models (LLMs), he has developed an intensive body of research —and, above all, knowledge-transfer activity— on the use of AI in academic work. Particularly noteworthy are his contributions on the ethical use of AI in doctoral dissertations and scholarly articles, again supported by numerous open-access publications available in UPF’s official repository. He has also delivered numerous lectures on the use of AI in academia at universities in Latin America and Spain. A substantial part of the materials used in these lectures is openly available in UPF’s official repository.
