Ann T. Curran studied at Emmanuel College 1945-1949 and earned AB degree in Chemistry. She studied at Simmons College 1955-1961 and completed an MS in Library Science.
From 1955 to 1957 she was librarian at the Raytheon Company Research Division in Waltham, MA. She was then librarian at the Babcock & Wilcox Atomic Energy Division in Lynchburg, VA, 1957-59; library assistant, Arthur D. Little, Cambridge, MA, 1959-60; librarian at Pickard and Burns Inc., Waltham, MA, 1960-62; and became Research Assistant and the Harvard Medical Library in 1963.
