Major contribution according to Farkas-Conn was to set the stage for interest groups within ASIS; Worked under Clapp at the Council on Library Resources; Worked for Documentation Inc. (Taube's company); Prof., Univ. of Maryland; Along with Luhn, instrumental in bringing about ARIST; Atherton/Cochrane, Bourne, and Cuadra were the driving force for ARIST.
