Two years after founded, became a subsidiary of John Wiley & Sons; Did consulting on library and computer networks, software development, and a publishing program; Hayes left the operation in 1974 to become Dean of the UCLA School of Library and Information Science; Becker continued to do consulting work with such firms as IBM, AT&T, Xerox, and A.D. Little as well as various libraries. |
