Cuadra made a significant contribution to the historical development of online retrieval services.proponent of library networks, information networks, personal computers, electronic publishing; founding editor of ARIST, v.1-10; Involved with the development of ORBIT, ORBIT II, and SDC Search Services (ORBIT III). He worked at SDC.

AWARDS: 1968 Award of Merit(ASIS); 1969 Best Information Science Book(ASIS); President of the Year Award(IIA) for ORBIT.
